Elisa DiStefano is a versatile reporter and host. Whether she is behind the anchor desk or on the red carpet, her energy and enthusiasm shines.
Elisa is a New York Press Club Award winning Entertainment Reporter. She was also nominated for a New York Emmy Award in the “On-Camera Talent: Features Reporter” and “Entertainment: Program/ Feature Segment” categories.
Elisa covers major entertainment events, including movie premieres, Fashion Week, awards shows, film festivals, and concerts. She has interviewed a long list of celebrities in music, movies, and television. She also produces and hosts many feature and lifestyle segments ranging from food to fashion to fascinating personalities. Her on-camera adventures range from rappelling down a building to diving with sharks to (this perhaps the scariest) dancing with the stars.
Elisa has extensive live experience. She anchors a live daily entertainment news segment and also fills in as a news anchor. She has also covered breaking news and traffic from the studio and from a chopper high above NYC.
Elisa enjoys volunteering her time to help numerous charities. She is a proud member of the Junior League. She loves to write- be it blogs, tweets, her “Hamptons Hot Sheet” for amNewYork, children’s books, funny poems, or wedding speeches (she has been a bridesmaid numerous times because she plans the best bachelorette parties!).
Elisa is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication and Delta Gamma alum.
